Assignment #4
Here I have my remarks on the collaboration assignment. Personally I thought the idea of showing us students about the editor/reporter relationship was there for us to understand. The actual project I feel back fired based upon the fact it wasn't very clear. It was a great simulation to see what each part of the writer had to do while the editor chose if it was a good beat or not. The outcome was good because it gave me the jist of what i had to cover and how I had to get my beat across to the media. The only part that was frustrating was that it wasn't very clear on what the role of the editor was to do while us reporters just outlined the story we were given to cover. I didn't hate anything about it, just would change the role of the reporter to choosing our own topic within our beat. Other than that, I learned a lot with this project.

The Wonder Assignment #3
Sports in general have a variety of ways to publish and broadcast a news story. For instance ESPN has a way to cover a story in a different variations. The media that ESPN carries is that It has a website, an ESPN and it also has Television. The one that I feel is the most persistent is Television. The reason that I feel that way would be because the anchors have to be more objective during the live coverage. On radio coverage the broadcaster tends to be less biased and have their side of the story they see the story from. With that said the Internet is the less valued one when it comes to giving a neutral viewing. Unless its a blog, then the editor or journalist becomes then biased.
Personally, I like to hear the radio about a certain news story because the fact of hearing a broadcasters stand point is amazing to listen to. The difference between a radio covered story rather than a printed story, radio allow callers to phone in and make the case on what side they believe and argue the punishment or situation.

Blog #2
After listening to all of the presentations during class, I have found Colin Cowherd most exciting. During his personal life, some intriguing information I have gathered was the fact his parents went through five divorces. The professional information that caught my eye was the fact of having his own television show "Sports Nation" and his own radio show "The Herd".
If I had the choice to emulate any of the provided analysts, I would choose Stephen A. Smith. The reason I choose him is due to the fact I want to be a sports journalist and debate certain stories against the one and only Skip Bayless.
The analyst I would definitely avoid is the scandalyst Janet Cooke. Why put myself in the situation to falsify news, win an award for it, and then admit to publishing a fake news story. Stay clear of all punishment and publish real news.

Most Memorable Night
The unifying theme in my blog assignments are my one and only past times, sports. Wednesday night i had my first opportunity to play in my first competitive basketball since my freshmen year, where I played in the JV game against Parish Hill. In this game, I was the starting shooting guard and I was told shoot a three point shot off of the jump ball. I faded to the corner of the court, and sank the first shot of the game. The reason I decided to blog about Sports is the love for them. My expectations for the upcoming blogs during the semester include in depth information in the blogs of choice, opinionated to some degree, along with a respectable thought that people may disagree with my topic I choose. I want to go into depth about current events that go hand and hand with sports. I hope people in the class will want to read my stories and don't bash on them too bad.
