If I had the choice to emulate any of the provided analysts, I would choose Stephen A. Smith. The reason I choose him is due to the fact I want to be a sports journalist and debate certain stories against the one and only Skip Bayless.
The analyst I would definitely avoid is the scandalyst Janet Cooke. Why put myself in the situation to falsify news, win an award for it, and then admit to publishing a fake news story. Stay clear of all punishment and publish real news.
Ryan, I like your thoughts and I agree with the Janet Cooke theory. I think she is a fake and I would avoid being like her any day! I like that you thought Colin was an exciting journalist,He has been through a lot in his life and I believe he is a very strong guy.
ReplyDeleteI chose Cowherd for my most interesting journalist, too! I really enjoy the work he does. As for Janet Cooke, everyone has come to a consensus that she is someone none of us look up to when it comes to journalism.
ReplyDeleteCowherd made his dream come true. You got to respect that. It's difficult to get far in life now because of all the Economic issues in our society. :(
Delete"Stay clear of all punishment and publish real news." Love that quote Runny! If all people lived by this then it could help us find creditable sources. Colin Cowherd seems like a depressed man to me, well at least I know I would be if my mother got divorced 5 times.
Delete"scandylist"? Excellent word! Thoughtful post. Do you prefer the opinion side of the news over the factual reporting?
